Schmidt Ranch wants every visitor to be able to use this website. We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we do

  • Semantic landmarks and headings for screen reader navigation.
  • A skip-to-content link on every page.
  • Visible keyboard focus outlines on all interactive elements.
  • Color contrast meeting or exceeding the AA standard.
  • Touch targets at least 44 pixels tall.
  • Animation is disabled for visitors who set a reduced-motion preference.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful photography.
  • Legal documents offered both in accessible dialogs and as standalone pages for direct links and assistive technology.

Known limitations

Historic photography may predate our current alt-text standards, and we review images as we publish them. If you find a page or element that does not work with your assistive technology, we want to know.
